I attended the first Taste of Korea fundraiser on Monday. It was a night filled with tons of entertainment and, of course, delicious Korean food and drinks.
All of the proceeds from this year’s event will go towards building a Korean Cultural Center in Hawaii to showcase the history and culture of Korea along with the first immigrants who came to Hawaii in 1903. The plans for the Korean Cultural Center include a museum, community meeting rooms, banquet hall and a Korean-themed park.
It can’t be a Korean event without kimchi!
A variety of rice cakes for dessert.
Pajun with chives.
